There is a regulation which require ship agents / owners to warrant all vessels which transit Peru waters are equipped with paper charts published by the Peruvian Navy’s Hydrographic and Navigation Bureau.
The situation is not clear but it is likely if vessels are using Electronic Chart Display and information System, they are required to have charts published by the Peruvian Navy.
