The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has issued a Fact Sheet for the California No Discharge Zone Prohibiting Vessel Sewage in all California Marine Waters.
Effective 28 March 2012 the following vessels will be prohibited from discharging all sewage, whether treated or not, while in California marine waters.

该规定于2012年3月28日生效，以下船舶位于加利福尼亚海域时，禁止其排放所有生活污水，无论该生活污水是否经处理。
