Gard的一家会员最近在圭亚那遭受的货损案件就涉及到铝矾土。该货物在托运人的申报单中被申报为 C 类货。当船抵达美国的港口卸货时，其中一个货舱出现严重液化。

Bauxite Liquefaction Risk in Guyana
A vessel loading a cargo of “cement grade bauxite” at Linden in Guyana, arrived at the discharge port in the US with parts of the cargo consisting of fine particles showing significant signs of high moisture content.
A Gard Member recently experienced an incident of cargo failure involving Bauxite loaded in Guyana. The cargo was declared as Group C in the shipper’s declaration. The vessel arrived at the port of discharge in the US with one cargo hold showing significant liquefaction.
