Indonesian Coal Producers Hit By Export Ban
Indonesian authorities have placed a coal export ban on 33 companies after they failed to meet their domestic supply obligations.
The suspension of exports from 33 coal mining companies was imposed after they reportedly failed to sell the required 25% of their production to the domestic market during the first half of 2021. The remaining coal mining companies continue to be allowed to export coal cargoes.
