International Group of P&I Clubs now confirms approval of an updated version of Electronics Shipping Solutions (ESS)’s electronic trading system, which enables electronic trading both in respect of bills of lading and waybills. You may recall that the Group, after reviewing a number of electronic trading systems, agreed that liabilities arising in respect of the carriage of cargo under such systems would be covered from 20 February 2010 provided that the system had first been approved by the Group. The details of the two systems currently approved by the Group, the Electronic Shipping Solutions system and the Bolero system, could be found on their websites, respectively: www.essdocs.com and www.bolero.net.
In order to ensure that any modifications introduced by the systems meet the Group’s requirements, the legal documentation associated with the use and operation of the two systems is continuously reviewed by the Group and its legal advisers.

国际保赔集团现已确认批准 Electronics Shipping Solutions (ESS) 电子交易系统的最新版本的使用，此系统可以用于提单和海运单的电子交易。国际保赔集团在审查过一定数量的电子交易系统之后，决定从2010年2月20日起承保在这些系统下所产生的会员在海上货物运输合同下的相关责任，但以该系统已由国际保赔集团批准为限。目前，国际保赔集团批准的两个电子交易系统为 Electronic Shipping Solutions（ESS）系统以及Bolero系统，具体的信息可以在各自的网站上找到： www.essdocs.com and www.bolero.net.
