The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Maritime Bureau (IMB) has issued its latest piracy report for the second quarter of 2017.
IMB’s report “Piracy & Armed Robbery against ships” indicated that during the first half of 2017 a total of 87 incidents were reported to the IMB Piracy Reporting Centre compared with 97 for the same period in 2016.
