Wood packaging materials in the US

The United States has revised its import regulation for wood packaging materials (WPM) which will become effective on 16 September 2006. From this date all such materials must be treated to kill harmful insects and there must be full details of how and where the treatment took place. All WPM must also be clearly marked to indicate that it meets the new requirements.
