近期，我司处理了几起船舶在西非港口遭遇偷渡的典型案例，尽管船东已采取聘请武装护卫、加强巡查等常规安保措施，偷渡事件仍难以完全避免，且由此引发的遣返费用、行政罚款及数额不小。现结合其中两起案件的关键事实与处理经验，总结如下，以供参考。

Stowaway – case share and loss prevention advice
We have recently handled several typical stowaway cases involving vessels at West African ports. Despite owners having taken conventional security measures such as employing armed guards and enhancing vessel patrols, stowaway incidents remain difficult to prevent entirely, and the resulting repatriation costs and administrative fines can be substantial. Based on the key facts and lessons learned from two of these cases, we summarise the following for your reference.
